Squintaloo is a Berlin-based 4some creating wild, relentless instrumental music in a tension zone between 70´s psychedelic Progrock and todays Sludge- & Artrock. Chunks of King Crimson, Mastodon, Mr. Bungle, Zappa and Queens of the Stone Age are thrown in the meat chopper, coming out as Filet Mignon a la Squintaloo.

"You would NOT expect 2 guitars, bass and drums to be copable of creating an infernal massacre like this!" Rudi of Einstürzende Neubauten heard panting as he was leaving the Mama-Berlin-Club bleeding from his left ear... And he was right. Sometimes rolling over you like a Sherman Tank, Squintaloos outrageous songbastards can also gently swift by you like a summer nights breeze, but always be prepared for them to suddenly burst into a thousand little pieces and raining down in colors you might have never seen.

Squintaloo have been ripping their audiences into shreds over the past few years in Berlin and are about to record their 4th full-lenght studio album after "Latantriga, Latantriga", "Squintaloo" and the non-instrumental release "Sibirskoblast". If you think mainstream or classic rock song-schemes, think again.
